  Today, my brother and I went to play football again. This time, we stayed longer and it wasn't raining. In the first half hour, we practised long passes, and in the second half hour, we played 1-on-1 in a small space. It's a really fun exercise and great for developing technique. It's also very intense and tiring.  Spending an hour playing a bit of football is always good for keeping your football skills sharp and staying in shape. It's also a great way to take a break from studying. I will definitely continue playing.

     Today was my school day. On this day, the school usually holds an open exhibition, featuring work by students and teachers. It is also common to have football matches on this day. This year, I offered to help with whatever was needed. So, I helped my class sell some snacks, coffee, drinks, cakes... and I also helped sell books. In this picture, I am in the library, where are some of the best books for sale. It is always good to serve my school, and it is also a duty, because I should not only receive, but also give. We managed to sell many books. We did not sell much food, though. We are thinking of another occasion to sell what is left over.      I really enjoyed the day, and there will be more next year.

Yesterday, I went to play football with my brother in the courtyard of my building. It was raining and the ground was wet. So we just did long-distance passes. We ended up with a 1-1 draw. It's always good to feel the ball at your feet and a good way to combine fun with rest, mental rest too. 

 Today, Vicente and I helped Eduardo with his art project. He has to paint these panels black so that he can display his work at an exhibition at our school on the 17th. Eduardo was very pressed for time, so we offered to help him. We took an hour to carry the panels from the first floor to the basement and paint them black. We haven't finished yet, though. Even though we have to study for our mock exams, and so does Eduardo, we ended this hour happy to have helped a friend .

 Today we had another art session. This time I noticed that the boys were more enthusiastic. Unfortunately, the art teacher will not be teaching any more classes, so while we wait for a new teacher, Vicente and I will have to teach the classes. This time the exercise was free drawing. Everyone did what they liked. I think this exercise is very good because it helps them develop their creativity and imagination. This time, another boy joined us. I think they are enjoying it. For the next classes, we are considering having everyone make a painting .

Today I had another descriptive geometry class. This was the first class after the holidays. Despite this, as I had done some exercises during the holidays, I still remember the material studied. We reviewed some concepts about lines and learned some new things, namely parallel and oblique lines, passing and non-passing lines. It is true that good results in descriptive geometry depend a lot on regular study. In this new year, I have set myself the goal of working more often.  

  Today I decided to cycle for 30 minutes. Actually, I didn't time it because I didn't have my watch with me. But I know it was quite a long time. I increasingly believe that sport is a great way to exercise virtues, especially perseverance and fortitude. This time I realised this because, in the first 10 minutes, it was really hard for me. I was considering changing the intensity level from 6/8 to 4/8. But I persevered, and then it got easier. I really enjoy cycling and looking at the view in front of me. It's also a great way to rest my mind.
