I had another descriptive geometry lesson today. As it’s the last lesson of the day, I’m usually more tired and find it hard to concentrate and work properly. We’ve already set the date for the next test, which will be next Monday. I need to start spending more time studying descriptive geometry. I’ve decided to draw up a plan and organise my time better.

Last Saturday, I went to spark some children’s creativity again. There weren’t many of them, but those who were there were happy. I think some of them are feeling a bit disheartened by the art lessons. One difficulty Vicente and I have been facing is coming up with projects for them to work on. What’s more, as we have to study for various subjects, it’s not easy to set aside any of our time for this task. It’s something we need to improve on.

Last Friday, three friends and I went to visit the patients at Pulido Valente Hospital once again. This time, one of our friends was coming along for the first time. How wonderful it is to help others be more generous too! Well, putting the moral of the story aside, it wasn’t easy at first. Some nurses didn’t seem too pleased with our presence; perhaps because we got in the way of their work, or perhaps because we brought a cheerful spirit that some mistake for mere naivety, to which they closed the door long ago. Another factor is the sombre atmosphere there: it’s not easy. Despite everything, we’re keen to go back and give some of our time to those most in need. As always, we left happier than when we arrived.

  Today I had another descriptive geometry class. This class was more difficult. The subject matter has become more complicated and if I don't study I'll be in trouble... I have to start studying more, because I haven't been quick at doing the exercises. This time I was more tired and didn't feel like going to class. However, it was a great opportunity to overcome my own limitations. I will continue to practise hard.

  This Monday we studied notable lines in planes. The subject is getting harder, but at the same time I'm enjoying it more and more. The truth is that descriptive geometry really helps me develop my spatial vision. As I plan to pursue a career related to architecture, these classes will be very useful in preparing me. That's my mindset in every class, and that's how I want to continue. Having classes with two other friends also helps us all come together for the same reason, rather than just being on our own.

 This lesson was some time ago. As far as I remember, we were studying the projections of straight lines in the third orthogonal projection. It's already past material.
